Dr.
Randy "Doc" Dreessen is a local DC (Doctor of Chiropractor)
who has been affiliated with the NWFL for the past 17 years.
He is accredited as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician,
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, as well as
an Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Diplomate. He has many ties
to the football world, serving as a team physician for the
Seattle Seahawks for the past 13 years, has served as an advisor
for the University of WA. During his tenure in the NWFL he
has played, coached, served as a Team Physician, and as a
General Manager. Most recently he was inducted into the Minor
League Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio(2002); one of only four
inductees from the NWFL over it's 40 year existence- including
Commissioner Ron Baines, and Head Coach Ken Austin. Dreessen
was team Dr. for the 1990 Goodwill Games and chosen as team
Dr. for the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics. He maintains a private
practice in Lynnwood,WA.

On
March 6th, 2004, Cherokee Valeria joined the West Sound Saints
as the Defensive Coordinator. Cherokee, 28, began his coaching
career in 1997, spending his first season volunteering his
time as an assistant coach at Ellensburg High School before
being promoted to the Freshmen Defensive Coordinator position
for the 1998-00 seasons. While at Ellensburg, he helped establish
a new attitude in the program by leading the 1999 Freshman
team to their first wining season in five years
.
Cherokee moved to Redmond, Washington in 2000 and played
three years of Semi-Pro Football in the North West Football
League before returning to the coaching field. In 2003, he
was hired by his former team, the Eastside Hawks, as an Assistant
Defensive Secondary Coach. As management shifted in mid season,
he was promoted to lead the secondary unit, where he helped
the Eastside Hawks win their first NWFL Championship and advanced
into the NAFL National Playoffs. The team ended up winning
the North American Football League West Conference Championship
and played for the National Title down in Orlando, Florida.
Five players from that years defensive secondary unit were
honored to receive Local and National All-Star Awards. (Terrance
Ivory, Julian Williams, Karl Wright, Joel Robnett, and Corey
Walker)

While coaching for the Eastside Hawks in 2003, Cherokee
also held a coaching position with Cedarcrest High School
as a Varsity Assistant, responsible for the Defensive Line
and Wide Receivers.
.Born
on June 13, 1975, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Brandon "Cherokee"
Lars Valeria graduated from Waiakea High School where he lettered
in Football, Wrestling, and Track and Field. While wrestling
at Waiakea High School, he helped his team win the BIIF League
Championship, and earned a berth into the State Individual
Championship Tournament.

After graduating High School, Cherokee "walked
on" to Central Washington University's football program
and earned a spot as a wide receiver. As a collegian, Cherokee
played four years at Central and was a member of the 1995
NAIA National Championship Team. He Graduated with a degree
in Biology and was certified as an EMT. He has a son Ayosgi,
and a daughter T'kia. Currently Resides in Redmond with girlfriend
Berna Haberman.
