Thunderbolts FB Keith Evans was stopped for no gain on 1st and goal from the one midway through the 3rd quarter. QB Josh Lamka scored on the next play.

After gaining 50 yards on the previous play, Viking RB Andre Edward gained 11 on this play before being stopped by Thunderbolts safety Brett Wells. The play was nullified by a holding penalty, the Vikings only penalty of the 2nd half.

TBolt DE Neil Classen earned NWFL Co-Defensive MVP honors in 1999 and finished the season with 59 tackles, 10 sacks and 23 QB pressures. In this game however, he was shut out by First-Team All-League OT Jeff Hudson.
