1st Quarter
Stars: 5 plays - 10 yards gained. LB Dion Alexander and RB Brandon Tate meet on the games first 3 plays as Tate tallies 12 yards. On 3rd and 8, the Stars QB's pass is batted back to him and he is tackled for a 3 yard loss by DE Terrance Stitt.

Jaguars: 5 plays - 20 yards. James Phillips connects with Michael Bush for 11 yards on 2nd & 9. On 3rd and inches, #25 stuffs FB Malachi DeWalt for a 2 yard loss. Mike Astley's 40 yard punt is downed at the 13. Star MLB Casey Lawrence single handedly stops the Jags first 3 offensive plays.

Stars: 3 plays - 7 yards. Tate gains 11 yards on 2nd & 14. 3rd down pass incomplete. Carlos Clark catches Jesus Solis' 40 yard punt on the fly, reverses direction and returns the ball 55 yards down the left sideline for the games first score. Stars: 7 plays - 26 yards. Back to back 5 yard penalties on the Jags give the Stars a first down. QB #17 Demmarcush connects with Kyle Hart for 23 yards down to the Jag 28. Facing 3rd and 14 on the 1st play of the 2nd quarter, CB Jeremiah Captain jumps an out route with nothing but daylight between him and the endzone but can't make the catch. Jesus Solis' 49 yard field goal attempt is blocked. 2nd Quarter
Stars: 4 plays - 0 yards. DT Fred Hardwell and S Milton Myers stuff back to back plays for losses of 2 and 6 yards but 5 yard facemask give the Stars another down. Facing 2nd and 13, #17 Demmarcus connects with WR Mike McGee for 8 yards. On 3rd and 5 DE Terrance Stitt reads the screen pass a Stars and nearly makes an interception. Jesus Solis 38 yard punt out of bounds at the Jaguar 38.

Stars: .5 plays - 19 yards. RB #20 Travis Herzog gains 13 on 2nd & 10. QB #17 Demmarcus scrambles for 9 more on first down. LB Dion Alexander stuffs FB Brandon Zike for a 3 yard loss on 2nd & 1. On 3rd and 4 CB Duane Bowen intercepts a pass and, surrounded by Stars, pitches the ball to safety Milton Myers. Myers somehow weaves his way through the Stars for a ~50 yard score, but a penalty negates the return.

Jaguars: 3 plays - 3 yards. The Stars free kick from their 20 goes out of bounds giving the Jaguars the ball at the Star 45. Pressure from Norman Wilbur on 3rd and 7 forces an incomplete pass. Astley's punt goes out of bounds at the 23.

Stars: 9 plays - 37 yards gained. On 3rd and 14 from their 19, QB #17 Demmarcus hits Brandon Mitchell on a quick out but CB Jeremiah Captain stops Mitchell for a 1 yard gain. Roughing the quarterback gives the Stars a first down at the 34. LB Dion Alexander stops RB #13 Keenan for a 2 yard loss, but a personal foul and ejection gives the Stars a first down at the 47 (video). RB #3 gains 18 yards down to the 35. 3rd Quarter
Stars: 4 plays - 8 yards. The Jags return a short kickoff out to the 45 before fumbling the ball away. (MickWhite.org photo) #17 Demmarcus connects with Kyle Hart for 9 yards, but the Stars lose 3 (DE Shawn Lovelace) and 6 (Fred Hardwell sack) to bring up 4th and 10. #17 Demmarcus scrambles but is stopped 2 yards short by Dion Alexander and Lovelace.

Jaguars: 4 plays - 17 yards. The Jags perfectly execute a screen pass as Phillips connects with Andre Edwards for 23 yards. On 1st and 10 from the Star 40, Phillips is sacked for a 12 yard loss by #23 Glen Stillman. Phillips scrambles for 6 yards on 2nd & 22 but a 5 yard penalty and incomplete pass force a punt. Astley's 31 yard punt is downed at the 20.

Stars: 3 plays - - 3 yards. Shawn Lovelace stuffed a 1st down run for a loss of 3 yards. On 3rd and 13 DE Shawn Corbett pressures QB #17 and Dion Alexander knocks away his pass. Punting from his own 12, Star punter Jesus Solis boomed a punt near midfield where the Jaguar returner tried to catch it on the dead run. He mishandled it and the ball was recovered by Stevie Woods at the 40.

Stars: 14 plays - 35 yards gained. RB #20 Travis Herzog gains 2 on 3rd and 1. Two plays later Dion Alexander manhandled the Star RB for a short gain. Demmarcus throws over the top down the right sideline to Kyle Hart and pass interference is called on the Jag defender at the 4 (video), but a Star personal foul after the play moves the ball back to the 17. Shawn Corbett sacks Demmarcus for a 5 yard loss as the 3rd quarter comes to an end. CB Duane Bowen stops #3 Jarvis Dunn for a 3 yard loss on a quick out. On 4th and 18 from the 25, Corbett records his 3rd sack of the game.

4th Quarter
Jaguars: 5 plays - 18 yards. Phillips connects with Tank Proctor for 13 yards. Proctor gains 6 more on the next play. The drive stalls as pressure from Kyle Hart forces an incomplete on 3rd and 4. Astley's 26 yard punt is downed at the 23.

Stars: 7 plays - 52 yards. FB Jesse Cardenas gains 7 yards on a 2nd & 10 pass completion. #17 Demmarcus connects with Brandon Mitchell for 41 and 5 yards on back to back plays. Pressure from Shawn Lovelace forces a 2nd down incompletion, and LB Dion Alexander sacks #17 Demmarcus for a 2 yard loss on 3rd down. On 4th and 7 from the 26, #17 Demmarcus evades pressure and throws down the middle where LBs Dion Alexander and Robert Brown cause the receiver coming across the middle to not make much of an effort on a catchable pass.

After fielding yet another one-hop snap, punter Mike Astley booms a high punt that takes a huge bounce backwards over the Jaguar coverage and is downed at the Jaguar 32 for a net a 11 yards.

Stars: 7 plays - 25 yards. DT Fred Hardwell stops FB Jesse Cardenas for no gain on first down. CB Duane Bowen interrupts a potential big gain on 2nd (video). QB #17 Demmarcus throws deep on 3rd down where safety Milton Myers knocks the ball away, but WR #85 Craig Lukens trailing the play, makes a diving catch at the 4. A penalty pushes the Stars back to the 9, and then pressure by LB Dion Alexander forces an incompletion. QB #17Demmarcus scrambles down to the 4 and a penalty on the Jags gives the Stars a first down at the Jaguar 2. DE Shawn Corbett hits Demmarcus and the ball pops up into the air to LB Willie Stewart who returned it 52 yards down to the Star 24 before being caught by Mike McGee.(video)

Jaguars: 4 plays - 3 yards. On 4th and 2 at the Star 16, Tank Proctor is stopped for a 5 yard loss on a QB option.

Stars: 4 plays - - 1 yard. CB Duane Bowen stops #85 Craig Lukens for just a 1 yard gain on a quick out. After 2 incompletions, Glenn Acheson and Shawn Lovelace combine to sack QB #17 Demmarcus for a 7 yard loss. A penalty on the Stars moves the ball to the 8 where the Jags take over.
